Helsinki Whiskey Rye Malt Release #20 is the flagship whiskey of the company that highlights the splended aroma of rye. It is a vatting of American virgin oak and ex-Bourbon barrels selected by Master Blender Kai Kilpinen. All the casks are 200 liter with char levels differing from 1 to 4. The whiskey has been matured for at least four years.

Tasting notes
Nose
Vanilla and fudge from the virgin oak cask, malted rye and freshly baked rye loaf from the distillate. Malts and dark chocolate.
Flavor
Rich mouthfeel. Aroma has notes of vanilla, dried pears and figs, caramel, licorice, herbs, coffee and dark chocolate. Malted barley balances the sweetness.
Aftertaste
Long, it lingers on the insides of the cheeks. Spiciness of rye whiskey is evident.
